Yachatz Kavannah
Why do we break a matzah in half? Why not put a whole matzah away for later? In the next paragraph, we will point to a plate with two complete matzot and one broken one and we will say, “This is the bread of oppression.” The bread of oppression is literally broken. When we are liberated, the bread will be whole. (From Haggadah Shir Geulah, 2015)
