Maror
מָרוֹר
Ahora tome un kezayit (el volumen de una aceituna) del maror. Sumerja en el Charoset, pero no tanto que el sabor amargo se neutralice. Recita la siguiente bendición y luego come el maror (sin reclinarse):
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יי אילָּהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָנוּ בְּמִצְוָתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ ול אֲכִלַת מָרוֹר.
Baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu melech ha-olam, asher kid'shanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu al achilat maror.
Alabado seas tú, Adonai, Señor nuestro Dios, Gobernante del universo, que nos ha enseñado el camino de la santidad a través de los mandamientos, ordenándonos que comamos la hierba amarga.
