LIGHT THE CANDLES
Narrator: We light the candles on the special days when we are together. Tonight we think about coming of of the darkness of slavery into the light of freedom. Thank you HaShem that we are free tonight and can share the warm feelings of our families and friends.
Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha'olam asher kidshanu bemitzvotav vetzivanu lehadlik ner shel (Shabbat v'shel) Yom Tov.
We praise You, O Lord our G-d , Ruler of the Universe, who has commanded us to kindle the lights of (the Sabbath and) this festival.Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha'olam, shehecheyanu vekimanu vehigianu lazman hazeh. (SING TOGETHER)
