Karpas: The Spring Forth
Karpas is the hope that springs forth after a winter. The green growth that remind us that the struggle is over and we look onward. Yet, we pause and dip the green into our tears, the salt water, and remember our journey. This taste jogs our memory of the tears we have shed.
Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, borei p’ree ha-adama.
We praise God, Ruler of Everything, who creates the fruits of the earth.
