They landed in America ... and were the first founders and builders of this country and nation. It was a great event in the history of England and America (and so every American child knows it from his father's house, his school, etc.) But I would like to know if there is a single Englishman who knows exactly the day and time of this liner and how many Americans know it, And how many people were in this ship, the names of their families, what they wore, what they ate, what route they traveled and what happened to them all the way, what they were fed and how they drank water, where was the point where they came to the shores of the land founded by these ancestors, where he lives today thanks to them?
\n\n
More than three thousand years before the Mayflower, the Jews left Egypt, every Jewish child in the world - in America, Soviet Russia, Yemen and Germany - knows exactly; His forefathers came out of Egypt at the dawn of the fifteenth of Nisan, what did they wear? - their waist is clenched and clenched in their hands, they ate matzos and arrived after the seventh day of the Red Sea. Until the present day Jews eat all over the entire world this matzah seven days from the fifteenth of Nisan, and tell of the Exodus from Egypt and the troubles that have come upon the Jews from the day they went out to the Diaspora And onwards, and they conclude with two articles; This year we are still in the Diaspora (for the next year in Jerusalem, in the Land of Israel, so are the nature of Jews ...)
\n\n
A few months later, the State of Israel was established..
\n\n
Opening question:
\n\n
Why is this what David Ben Gurion decided to present to the United Nations when trying to convince them of the absolute need to the Jewish State, the State of Israel to be established?
\n\n\n\n
After thinking and discussing- sing again together and reevaluate - does this give us more insight?
\n\n
\n\n
That which stood for our ancestors applies to us as well.
\n\n
For it was not only one individual who stood up against us to destroy us.
\n\n
Rather, in every generation they stand up against us to destroy us.
\n\n
But the Holy One, Blessed Be He, redeems us from their hands.
",
