Why Matzah?
· Why do we eat matzo if we can’t eat any wheat totally defeating the purpose of the Passover fast? Is it because that’s what the Jews had time to make before we left Egypt? Still it defeats the rule.
Matzah doesn’t rise unlike the other bread and those 18 minutes is all the Jews had time to bake for. The bread rising compares to the “puffiness of arrogance”- Rabbi Tali.
