Regularly, one of you would take the middle piece and break it into two pieces, and give the larger of the two new pieces to the host. I would then wrap it in a napkin and, at some point between now and the end of dinner, discreetly slip away to hide it. This hidden piece of matzah is called the afikoman, literally “dessert” in Greek.</p>\n\n<p>Instead, we'll play bingo.
