story, part 1
Today we gather to tell the story of the Jews' exodus from Egypt, out of bondage to freedom. But this will not always be the story we tell. It is said in the Talmud that, in the days when the world is more perfect, we will remember not just the liberation from Egypt, but the liberation of all people from oppression. Truly,“injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Injustice to any people is a threat to justice to all people.”
