Shehakol
Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu, Melekh ha'olam, shehakol nih'ye bidvaro.
"Blessed are You, LORD our God, King of the universe, through Whose word everything comes into being."
One of the reasons we have the egg at the Seder is because it symbolizes the beginning of life, and Passover marks the very beginning of our national existence. But it’s more exact than that. The egg reflects the precise position of the Jewish people at the time of the Exodus from Egypt. Please eat your egg at this time.
