자유의 기쁨에 대한 휴일을 만들어서, 우리의 고난의 역사 이야기를 달콤한 축하로 바꿉니다. 우리는 쓴 허브를 달콤한 카로셋에 적셔 먹음으로서 이를 감사합니다. 달콤한 맛으로 쓴 맛을 완전히 없애지는 못하지만, 달콤함이 씁쓸함과 더해지면 더욱 의미 있지 않나요?
ברוּךְ אַתָּה יְיַָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּֽנוּ עַל אֲכִילַת מרוֹר:
Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu al achilat maror.
