Korban
The Korban are the five worship sacrifices of Leviticus chapters 1 to 5. The Passover lamb sacrifice closely resembles the 3rd Korban, the personal peace offering. The purpose of this offering was to bring unity and wholeness to the relationship between the worshiper and the Name who is King. It was a voluntary act of intimate worship.
The personal peace offering was not about the absence of conflict. It was about bringing wellness, completeness and intimacy to a relationship. Our peace with the Almighty Creator leads us to peace with our brothers and sisters.
Let us remember and never forget that we were once slaves but thanks to the offering of the Passover lamb we now have peace with God our Father and our relationships are fulfilled in acts of peace offerings and worship.
