Golden Girls Shulchan Oreich
Picture it, Egypt, approximately 1350 BCE. Or was it Miami, 1985?
Over the course of seven seasons, the Golden Girls sat around the kitchen table for at least 100 cheesecakes and countless late-night talks. The four archetyped characters are still cherished today, especially by drag performers who connect to the themes of chosen family and overcoming adversity. And while cheesecake isn't a traditional Passover food, the Shulchan Aruch section of our seder recognizes the power of food to bring us together.
