Endorian Karpatz
On the green moon of Endor lived a primitive species small beings that loved to play in the Forest and Swing from the Branches. These Ewoks, known as Yeladim, Love to Play. They were taken from their home planet and brought to the Evil Desert Like Planet of Egypt. We would like to ask them to help lead us remember their beautiful green planet and the tears they have shed forgetting their home. After we say our "bracha" force it will be time to snack on the other wonderful dipping treats from the lush planet of Endor.
Take less than a kezayit (the volume of one olive) of the karpas, dip it into salt-water, and recite the following blessing:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יי אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, בּוֹרֵא פְּרִי הָאֲדָמָה
Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu melech ha’olam, borei p’ri ha’adamah.
Blessed are You, Lord, our God, Ruler of the universe, who creates the fruit of the earth.
