Although we are no longer enslaved in Egypt, our experience shaped and should shape the Jewish interaction with people around the world. I believe that we as a people must have "the outstretched hand" that God had with our ancestors. When people seek refuge, let their wish be fulfilled. That is how we can thank God for our freedom, more than anything.
