Avadim Heyeinu
Remembering Egypt helps us to know that it is our responsibility to help others who are oppressed. This summer I interned at an organization that seeks to aid victims of genocide. I felt compelled to work hard for those people because had we not been saved when we were in Egypt, we may have died out. Recalling our Exodus is humbling and important to our character as a people.
